Mario Balotelli was told by Raffaella Fico , a 24-year-old underwear model and TV presenter, after over hearing gossips during the Euro 2012 games.
Raffaella Fico has confirmed in Italian gossip magazine Wednesday's edition of the weekly Chi that she has already tolrd Mario balotelli about the pregnancy:I'm expecting a baby - your baby."
Balotelli was so happy of the information that he went to score two goals against Germany and Italy was thru to the finals but was defeated by Spain.
“I called (Balotelli) the day before the game against Germany and I said, ‘I'm expecting a baby, it's your baby'” Fico told Italian website Sport Mediaset.
“After a pause he said: 'You gave me the best news of the world.'
“I went to a pharmacy outside Milan to buy a pregnancy test and I found I was pregnant. But I only told my mother and my brother.
“Last Christmas, he told me, 'let's get married and make a son', and I accepted.”
Mario Balotelli will be waiting for the results of the paternity test before choosing the best decision for the baby.
"Once I have proof of my paternity, I will assume full responsibility," Balotelli said.
I learnt from third parties a few days ago that Raffaella was expecting. That is why I decided to contact her and it was only then that she told me it was true."
"I am very disappointed, I don't think it's normal to not be told anything until the fourth month of a pregnancy."
Balotelli and Fico was in an 18 months relationship before they separate ways because of Mario's infidelity.
Raffaella Fico onced tried to sell her virginity for one million euro and dated Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
